UK city breaks for young travelers

Young travelers just love city breaks – it is probably the most dynamic and interesting way of traveling. Nowadays planes make it even easier and more attractive. It doesn’t take long to just get in your car, go to the nearest airport and start an adventure. Besides you can get airport parking from Park BCP which will save you some money and time. Next thing is choosing your city break destination. That’s not an easy choice since UK is offering great city breaks for young people.

Liverpool for example is a place that combines the culture, traditions and history with a buzzing nightlife, music and football. There is plenty to do during the day and when the sun sets the fun can begin. Liverpool really lives up to its reputation as one of the best places for young travelers not only in the United Kingdom but in the whole Europe.

Many travelers start their city break from London. If this is the case, Edinburgh is a very good option. Luton airport is an excellent starting point for such a trip because many low cost airlines offer tempting flight tickets to the capital city of Scotland. The airport is 35 miles away from London so don’t hesitate to go there with your car, you can get e good deal on Luton airport parking. The same goes for Stansted parking too. Once in Edinburgh there is plenty to do and explore. Be sure to check if there is a good concert as well. The city is the second most popular destination in the United Kingdom for short breaks and only London is one step ahead.

Manchester is also among the best city break destinations, and it is hard to pick when to go because there is always something going on. It is never boring, new restaurants and clubs open all the time. The modern shops will not disappoint you either. Even if you have been in Manchester before there is always something new to discover and enjoy and the diversity of the city is just amazing.

It might be a cliché but the university city of Cambridge is a great place for young tourists. Not just because it is full with other young people but also because you can relax there and soak in history and magnificent architecture. Spring is especially charming there. You will get the chance to do some punting or simply walking around the historic buildings and if you prefer some more action why not trying the famous
Cambridge rowing too.

Cardiff is also one of the favorite places in Great Britain for short breaks. It is a strange mixture of culture and shopping opportunities that will make you fall in love with the capital of Wales. Cardiff Castle and Millennium Stadium are good starting points for exploring the city. There are excellent restaurants and places to walk. Cardiff has a lot to offer to the visitors who love arts and music and is one of the best places to spend the weekend.

Belfast is also a must-see short break destination. The Northern Irish capital is a real treasure for those who like the friendly atmosphere. The architecture is glorious and the nightlife is vibrant, the pubs are welcoming and the city center is charming. A walk around the narrow streets of Belfast is often described as a not-to-miss adventure.

The ultimate place for young city breakers in the United Kingdom of course is London. The only problem with the capital is that once you get there it is hard to stay just a few days.
