The name Cardiff is the English name of Welsh name "Caerdydd". Cardiff is the capital and the main city in Wales. It is situated in the South of the county of Glamorgan on the Southern tip of Wales, between the two Welsh cities of Newport and Swansea. Cardiff happens to be the headquarters of the principality of Wales. The city has acquired itself a reputation as one of the youngest capital in Europe with great prospects.
